THE TAP ROOM
Our aim is to serve our beer in as perfect condition as possible; as well as being as fresh as a daisy! We also have local ciders as well as wine from Downsview Winery in Crowborough and a good variety of soft drinks. Bar snacks will be available if you are peckish.
You’ll be able to join us for a pint of brewery fresh beer in the shadows of the tanks where they were made and enjoy the most amazing views across Bewl Water and the Weald countryside. We are accessible by footpaths linking to the Sussex Border Path and Bewl Water and dogs are welcome to join you.
FROM 16th APRIL, THE TAP ROOM WILL BE OPEN OUTDOORS ONLY FOR UP TO 6 PEOPLE OR TWO HOUSEHOLDS PER TABLE.
WE HOPE TO BE BUSY AND SO BOOKINGS ARE RECOMMENDED (walk ins will be welcome subject to table availability - no standing allowed)

COVID-19 CHANGE OF SERVICE (updated 22.2.21)
Due to Government guidelines, the tap room will be operating a bit differently for a while. This is ensure the wellbeing of our team and also that of our amazing customers. We can't wait to welcome you back to Planet Cellar Head so please read on to find out how you will be able to visit us (apologies in advance for the lengthy ramble coming up!)
TABLE RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED BUT WALK INS ARE WELCOME SUBJECT TO TABLE AVAILABILITY. To request a table reservation, please fill in the form below and we will contact you (in the order requests are received) to complete your booking. Your request is not confirmed until you hear back from us.
The tap room will initially be open 5-8pm (1 sitting) on Fridays and 12-8pm (sittings 12pm, 3pm, 5pm) on Saturdays.
Table bookings are for a maximum of 6 people or two households) including children on Fridays are for a single 3hr sitting and on Saturdays are for 1hr45m or 2h45m with a 15 minute turnaround time between sittings to allow us to clean and prepare tables for our subsequent guests. If we have space, you are more than welcome to stay beyond your sitting.
Dogs are welcome as always but must be kept on a lead.
Upon arrival you will be asked to provide the name and contact details of everyone in your party. This is to assist the NHS Track & Trace programme and is not optional. Records will be destroyed after 21 days.
Orders will be placed via text message to the bar when you are seated so please make sure you have one phone between you! Card payment only
The shop will continue to be open to allow guests without reservations to buy beer to takeaway.
It goes without saying that social distancing guidelines must be followed when you are at the tap room in order for us to operate safely and we expect all of our guests to comply willingly. Anyone flouting the guidelines will be asked to leave.
