Back in March we took a brew of our Flapjack Oatmeal Stout (4.7%) and put it to bed in 4 different oak casks to age. This ageing process allows the beer to mature, mellow and take on the flavours offered by the host casks - a Madeira cask, a Bourbon cask, a Canton whiskey cask and a French oak wine cask. Take your pick or go for a set of all four!
Bottled in 750ml bottles
Barrel Aged Flapjack Oatmeal Stout (750ml)
Bottle conditioned - pour gently leaving the sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
Keep cool and best served at 12-14 degrees centigrade.
